Police say altercation occurred when a group of PAS supporters went to Wisma Tok Guru to hoist party flag, claiming premises belonged to them.
KOTA BHARU: Kelantan police have received three reports on an alleged altercation between supporters of PAS and Amanah that took place at Wisma Tok Guru in Salor here on Sunday.
Kelantan police chief Hasanuddin Hassan said two of the reports were lodged by Amanah supporters and one by a PAS supporter.
The altercation occurred when a group of PAS supporters went to Wisma Tok Guru to hoist the party flag, claiming that the premises belonged to them.
This upset Amanah supporters who were there, he told reporters after the monthly assembly of the Kelantan police contingent here today.
He said swift action by police brought the situation under control.
