Johor DAP chairman Liew Chin Tong, who confirmed the matter, said Lim, 76, had regained his health after the surgery to remove a small tumour in his left kidney.
Lim would be back active on the political front this month, according to Liew.
“He (Lim) has recovered (from the treatment and surgery).
“On Jan 27, he will start going to the ground to meet the people in Johor,” he said.
Last December, Lim was diagnosed with having Stage 1 cancer and had rested for a month after the treatment and surgery, said Liew.
The opposition leader’s health condition had raised questions as he was not present at the Pakatan Harapan Convention 2018 in Shah Alam on Jan 7, and he has also not been seen on the political radar until now.
