Kelantan PKR MP Saupi Daud, 67, died at home in Pasir Pekan, Tumpat with his family at his bedside at 5am.
Kelantan PKR chairman Ab Aziz Ab Kadir said Saupi died in his home in Pasir Pekan, Tumpat here at 5am, with his family at his bedside.
“His remains were placed at the Ar Rahman Mosque in Pasir Pekan and he will be laid to rest after Asar prayers today,” he said when contacted here.
Ab Aziz said Saupi was Tanah Merah MP from 1999 to 2004.
“His contributions were enormous and we hope his family will be strong over their loss,” he said.
