This is the first time the MACC introduces its anti-corruption module to a political party and MCA is the first political party to adopt this module since December last year.KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and MCA Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enable the political party to adopt MACC anti-corruption module to raise awareness about anti-corruption among its members.
"This is the first time the MACC introduces its anti-corruption module to a political party and MCA is the first political party to adopt this module since December last year," the MACC said in a statement here year.
The statement also stated that the MACC would try to lure more political parties to adopt the module.
The MoU was signed by MACC Deputy Commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali and MCA School of Political Studies principal Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun at the MCA headquarters here.
Also present were MCA deputy president Datuk Wee Ka Siong.
Last December, MCA had also invited the MACC to give a talk on efforts to fight corruption to the party members at its training camps in Cherating, Pahang and Grik, Perak.
