SHAH ALAM: After 110 days of formation, Pakatan Harapan today signed a coalition agreement between its three member parties to form a sustainable political union.
The opposition coalition hopes that the agreement will provide a more organised structure in the cooparation between PKR, DAP and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah).
The agreement was focused on seven conditions on cooperation in Pakatan Harapan, including mechanism to make joint decisions, to build a strong political union, dispute resolution, seats allocation and state government cooperation.
The conditions were tabled at the Pakatan Harapan inaugural Leadership Conference by PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli, DAP national organisation secretary Anthony Loke and Amanah organisation secretary Suhaizan Kaiat.
The agreement, which was the first in history, was signed by PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, DAP secretary general Lim Guan Eng and Amanah President Mohamad Sabu.
Pakatan Harapan was formed on Sept 22, 2015 after the political cooperation between PAS, PKR and DAP in the Pakatan Rakyat broke in June last year.
