Should anyone considers Ezam Noor as a politician, he is practically nothing more than just an opportunist who would linger around politicians for his personal gains. Initially, a staunch follower of Anwar Ibrahim in PKR and later was brought into UMNO during Pak Lah’s presidency but after which he failed to achieve any influential position in UMNO, he now joined Dr Mahathir’s party.Ironically, even fond of imitating his former boss Anwar’s style of speeches and a vocal leader in PKR, he was never granted candidacy in the previous general elections. Even so, UMNO does not place any confidence in him to contest as their candidate but was smart enough to surface this shit-stirrer’s loyalty are mere to rank and wealth.
As a shit-stirrer, Ezam is known to be selling his bogus story lines of the 6 boxes of Dr Mahathir’s lists of corrupt practices during PKR’s political campaigns. Shamelessly, the accused corrupt man is his present boss in the new party to go against UMNO and the ruling party Barisan Nasional who once placed him in a high-ranking position in the Ministry of Finance as well as a senator too.
Ezam teamed up with Dr Mahathir, Muhyiddin and Mukhriz and later left UMNO for what he claimed to disagree and dispute 1MDB financial mismanagement. Despite admitted that he has no access to review 1MDB information while at MOF as the Director of Communication, Ezam lied all along when he was present during most important ministerial meetings.
Certainly, after leaving UMNO, Ezam is well received by leaders and party members of Dr Mahathir’s new party but what he has conveniently forgotten is that he has left the same amount of friends who are betrayed. These are among those who had strived through thick and thin to gain confidence for Ezam to have a place in UMNO division.
A netizen by the name of Mohd Faisal has recently has lambasted Ezam’s hypocritical stance in his Facebook posting, who had denounced government’s financial aid program to the targeted low-income group in support of Dr Mahathir’s statement that BR1M is a form of corruption and hence illegal. Mohd Faisal has also taken Ezam to an open debate and sue him should all his open allegations are mere libel but in Ezam’s response all he could do was to belittle him.
As mentioned earlier that Ezam’s political loyalty has never deviated from money and wealth. This is questioned by Faisal when Ezam claimed that he is penniless to appoint a lawyer but at the same time, Ezam is enjoying his jet-set lifestyle whilst living in a multi-million bungalow within Shah Alam’s elite residential area.
Greedy for more is the root to everything about Ezam. Further, Faisal has disclosed the actual reason behind Ezam’s resignation from MOF. Perhaps failing to make his way for a promising position in UMNO, Ezam needs a government platform to establish his position, yet his Director of Communication in MOF is definitely inadequate and dissatisfactory.
To Ezam, the only path for a quick ride in politics and in particular in UMNO is to be able to walk alongside with the most powerful man, that is DS Najib Razak. Therefore, the position as a political secretary to PM Najib should be pursued by any means. Alas, Ezam has failed that lead him to resign from MOF. It was all about failing to make headway in PMO that Ezam left his office and realising that his political career would falter, a coverup for 1MDB issues seem timely.
Ezam’s betrayal to Anwar in exchange for his sudden support towards Dr Mahathir is just a charade as through his political involvement, the word loyalty to friends and leaders never appeared in his vocabulary except to whoever serves as the highest bidder. As a shit-stirrer, Ezam has played his role well but for just a moment when once he is proven to be an unprincipled politician, he shall have no place to be well-accepted and trusted any longer.
