The Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 1.51pm and dispatched its personnel to the scene.
The fire was put out completely at 2.09pm.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
The room, located on the fourth floor and measuring around 7.43 square meters, was completely gutted.
