PETALING JAYA: Sungai Besar Umno divisional chief Jamal Md Yunos now claims to possess information on the extraordinary wealth of yet another PKR divisional youth leader.

He has threatened to expose this unidentified person soon.

Without giving any names, he said he had evidence of how rich this person was and would choose a suitable date to lodge a report against him with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

“I will request the MACC to investigate. We have the proof,” he said today in Ampang.

He said the action would be in the same vein as the reports he had made previously on PKR’s Ampang Youth chief Adam Rosly, who was eventually charged in April with giving false statements to the MACC when they investigated him over his “unusual” wealth.

The investigations had kicked in following police reports lodged by Jamal who claimed that Adam owned a lavish bungalow and a string of luxury cars despite only being in PKR for a short while.

In November last year, Jamal had taken reporters in a helicopter to get an aerial view of the bungalow, said to imitate the style of buildings at Disneyland.

Jamal said the PKR youth leader he was going to expose next had close links to Adam and a nephew of Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali, who was arrested by the MACC yesterday over a probe into illegal mining in the state.

It was reported yesterday that some RM4 million in bank accounts of a mining company had been frozen.

Jamal claimed that there were many other similar cases in PKR.

“I am informed that they stash their ill-gotten gains overseas,” he claimed.

“I am warning the youth leader to prepare himself. We are going to get to work (on him) after this,” he added.

Jamal, who is also leader of the Red Shirts group, alleged that the person had kept much wealth in London, Singapore, Australia and Indonesia.

These could be channelled back to Malaysia to cover costs for the upcoming 14th general election (GE14), he added.
