JOHOR BAHRU: A two-year-old girl endured nearly half an hour of pain after getting her head stuck in the face hole of a massage bed at a spa here today.
Pontian Fire and Rescue Department officer Mohd Shahlan Amrin said they received a distress call at 4pm and a team of firemen were dispatched to the spa outlet operated by the victim’s mother in Kampung Melayu, Kayu Ara, near Pontian.
“The victim was reportedly playing on the massage bed with her younger sister and they were pushing their heads in and out of the face hole,” he said, adding that the firemen had to widen the face hole to rescue the girl who was uninjured.
